News releases 12th Nunnopi Children’s Literary Award Goes to Han Man-young (fairy tale category) and Hwang Young-sun (verse category)

The 12th Nunnopi Children’s Literary Award found two teachers Han Man-young (fairy tale category) and Hwang Young-sun (verse category) to be winners. The Daekyo Culture Foundation announced the winners on Jan. 27: Han, teacher at Deokbeok Elementary School in Cheongju and Hwang, teacher at Wolsung Elementary School in Gyeongju. Han wrote fairy tale titled “Otter Dallae in Bandal Reservoir” and Hwang wrote 15 children’s verses including “Beautiful Tree.” The awarding ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at Nunnopi Boramae Center in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul on Jan. 28.
